Urtica dioica more often known as nettle is an herbaceous perennial flowering plant. It has been used traditionally for hundreds of years to treat anemia, gout, arthritis, muscle and joint pain and eczema. Today it’s most common use is in the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia or BPH for short. BPG is a urinary tract disease, and in its early stages it may very possibly be combated with Nettle. Nettle also contains a wide variety of minerals such as magnesium, calcium, iron, Vitamin A and Vitamin B. It has the highest protein count (26%) out of all wild plants.
